Don’t Sit On It

Navigating family office (FO) investments requires an immense amount of patience and a strong dose of self-control.

Compared to the typical investment strategies, an FO’s long investment game can feel abnormally slow-paced. It takes an individual with a healthy sense of self-awareness and control to take on the role of these investments.
One thing all FOs always strive for is better results.

But better results often require change, and quickly at that.

When something goes wrong or you’ve learned something needs fixing, act quickly and adjust. If something can be improved, optimized, or needs to be corrected, swift implementation is required.

Ensure your FO remains at the forefront by staying informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. All of this is an investment in you and helps keep your head in the game.

So don’t confuse playing the long game with just sitting on it. Playing the long game is still staying in the game.

If something needs to be fixed, change it. And fast.

Don’t sit on it.
